Land Use War Machine 2010

Introducing the Albright Jeep 2010 -- Ready for Battle

By Del Albright

It’s a war machine because it spends all of its time in battle, on trails, in meetings, and on show to help shed light on our fight for access to our lands and waterways. Whether it be for OHV recreation, hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, dune buggying, riding quads and side-by-sides, or dirt biking, whatever, this rig is ready for battle. With over 120,000 miles, many of them trails, and 12 years with my butt in the seat, this Jeep represents all our passion for outdoor recreation and our strong desire to keep our trails open and our sports alive.

After three rebuilds, including one at Wyotech (Automotive College), I can assure you this baby would have long been a junk-yard dolly were it not for a BUNCH of awesome offroad businesses who have pitched in, donated parts, chipped in cash, and banged up knuckles keeping this puppy on the right path.

2010 marks a new era for the Land Use War Machine. This rig is going to lead the charge for a bigger than ever campaign to save our sports and access. This red machine is going to lead the Access Army into battles to help our existing organizations and fights. And this Jeep is going to represent what all of us want – continued access for responsible recreation throughout our great country for all our outdoor pursuits.

Allow me to thank those folks who have put “Seein’ Red” (C UN RD) on the front lines to lead us into battle for 2010.

First on the list is the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) I work full time for them as an Ambassador under a contract, and without support from BRC, I would not be able to do what I do for land use and access. Please join me by joining BRC.

NOTE: remember to always buy ONLY from businesses like these who are doing something to support our access fights – no matter how big or small, every company can be members of something, donate to something, and help where they can. This list of offroad outfits goes WAY beyond the call of duty to really help the fight.

I am honored to be part of and on the team with all of these great folks. Without these great sponsors, supporters and friends, old Seein’ Red would be parked and I would not be in the fight for access to the extent I am. THANK you all. Sincerely…Del
