PROFESSIONAL STAFF RECRUITMENT BY EXCEPTION STRATEGY - CRITICAL TO OPERATIONS PRINCIPLES
In accordance with the Strategy, a position is considered critical to operations where it can be demonstrated that, without the position:
  • a core service or operational priority that is required to be delivered, cannot continue or be initiated; or
  • the standard of service delivery for the organisational unit will be significantly impacted; or
  • the workload on remaining staff will clearly be unreasonable.
