STD VII - ‘Clean Diwali, HealthyDiwali’

Dear Students,

Cleanliness is not a work which we should do forcefully. It is a good habit and healthy way of our healthy life. For Diwalicleanliness is of foremost importance as it is believed that the cosmic energy permeates only those households that remove clutter from their homes and lives. A small step from the end of every Indian citizen can be a big step for fulfilling the purpose of our Hon. Prime Minister NarendraModi’s‘Clean India’ campaign to realise Mahatma Gandhi’s long cherished dream.

Write a short essay of 10 sentences on “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” in English. Use at least 2 similes, 5 synonyms and 2 antonyms of cleanliness in your write up and highlight them.

Create a poster to spread awareness about the ‘Clean India Mission’ launched by our PM and write an attractive slogan to convey the idea about the usefulness of this mission in Hindi.

As it is important to keep our surroundings clean it is equally important to keep our thoughts and actions also positive. Therefore write a pledge for you, of which positive habit you will develop in yourself this New Year,in Gujarati.

In order make our home spick ‘n’ span we often use many types of detergents and liquids. Make a list of such 5 detergents commonly used in homes to keep them pest free and write down what for they are used. Write their brand names and cost in the following format.

Instructions:

i)Find the total cost of cleaning detergents used in your home in one month and find the total cost for the year.

ii)If suppose the annual family income is 10 lakh per year what will the percentage income spent on detergents.

We, human beings generate lots of garbage every day. Categorize the waste generated from your house into bio-degradable and non bio-degradable waste. State the ways in which you dispose these wastes.Clean up an area within your society with the help of 3 more friends after Diwali. Click a snap and paste it in your project and request your parents to write remarks about your work (in Hindi, English or Gujarati).
