Baseball Conditioning begins Monday, August 31st

immediately after school in the weight room.

GAME PASSES–The Athletic department will be selling student game passes this week at all three lunches (Wednesday – Friday). The passes are a one-time fee of $50 and will allow students to get into ALL regular season home sporting events at SAHS for the year. See Coach Holland or Coach Raimann for more details. The passes can also be paid for with a credit card online through the SAHS Athletics homepage.

Hi Seniors,

If you have purchased a Senior Reserved Parking Spot this year but missed out on the opportunity to paint your reserved spot prior to school starting, please stop by and see Mr. Mastoridis by Wednesday, August 26th for his approval to paint your reserved parking spot (#1-70). You will need to submit your design sketch to Mr. Mastoridis for approval by 8/26/15.

Once you have received design approval, you will be given an invite to paint on Saturday, August 29th from 9AM-1PM.

Senior Parking Space Art Work Diagram forms are available at the front desk.

Class T-Shirts! Class of 2019 T-shirts are on sale in Ms. Naughton’s room, E501 for $10. Come on in any time before or after school or between classes. Cash or checks made out to SAHS accepted. Once they are gone we will NOT reorder.

ASTRONOMY CLUB

There will be an informational meeting and Observatory tour on Wednesday the 26th, 8:40 am in Mr. Webber’s room (F602).

AFRICLUB- The AFRICLUB will meet on Friday, August 28th, in Ms. McCarthy-Jensen’s office in the back of the Media Center at 8:40 a.m.

There will be a National Honor Society meeting this Friday morning at 8:45 in Mr. Richardson’s room. This meeting is for returning members only.

Hey, do you want to join a fun, “hands on” club? Come check out the ASL club this Friday morning (8/28) in Mrs. Hurd’s room B-245 at 8:45. You don’t need to be in ASL – just know how to sign or want to learn

Come to Taking a Stand, a new club where we believe and encourage only kind and positive words throughout our school. We actively step out to stop bullying and harassment in all forms. We educate and raise awareness for the effects of bullying, and we provide a safe place to talk. We all have a story, you’re NOT alone.” Come to the first meeting on Wednesday morning before school, September 2nd in B238.

Recycling Club is still looking for anyone willing to help keep St. Augustine green. If you are interested in getting community service hours, then see Mr. Sohn after school in D-413any and or everyMonday to help out.

The Saint Augustine High Key Club is looking for students who enjoy giving back to the community.Last year our clubparticipated in the Saint Augustine Greek Festival, Compassion 5k Road Race, Special Olympics, fundraising for an Indian school in Peru, Saint Augustine Little League opening day, UNICEF Halloween fundraiser, Marine Science scholarship fundraiser,and the Valano Beach Cleanup. If you are looking to earn community service hours and like helping others, Key Club is for you. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 8:40 am in room G620.
