15:30 – 16:30 / After school athletics practice involved three teachers and myself so the boys had plenty of different activities to choose from. I remained in the pop up arena to help Mr Hargreaves with the high jump and enjoyed watching a boy beat his PB with a jump of 1.65 metres. / Developing my teaching ability by observing different activities.

15:30 – 16:30 / After school cricket practice with Mr H at Edenside cricket club involved three groups of three including myself taking part to bowl at a batter in the nets. Giving feedback and coaching tips to help the boys improve their bowling. It was good to bowl for the first time in 22 years and put all the coaching tips I’d learned since Easter into practice; I could then understand the reason behind these points and improved my own bowling rapidly, taking two wickets myself. / Gaining more knowledge and understanding of bowling in cricket. Teaching the various tips for a successful technique.
