How to Use the BAMSI Email Signature

  1. Choose which signature template you are going to use below
  1. Update it with your unique information by replacing the generic information (Your Name, Street Address, etc.) with your own.

Three Options:

  1. Highlight your entire completed signature and choose edit, copy to copy the text.

  1. Now open either Outlook Web Access through the BAMSI Employee Portal or your desktop Outlook and follow the instructions on page 3 as to how to place the signature in your Outlook options.

For Outlook Web Access (through the BAMSI employee website):

1. Select “Access Email” in the Employee Portal found at the bottom of the BAMSI website and log in with your email and password. After signing in, click Options in the top right corner.


2. Right click with the mouse in the empty E-mail Signature box and click paste.

3. Select the box above that says “Automatically include my signature on outgoing messages.

4. Click Save at the top of the page.


For Microsoft Outlook (from the Outlook program):

1. Open Microsoft Outlook and click on Tools, Options.


2. Choose the Mail Format tab in the screen that pops up, then click Signatures at the bottom of the box.


3. Click New in the box that appears.4. Enter your name as a label for your signature, select

“Start with a blank signature”, and click Next.

5. After you’ve copied your signature from the template, 6. When your signature appears in the box, click Finish.

right click into the empty box and click Paste.

7. Click OK.8. Select your new signature as the Signature for new

messages and Signature for replies and forwards, then

click OK.

Please remember: When you send email from a BAMSI address, you are representing the agency. Using this signature ensures that we present a standard agency brand and that every email sent from @bamsi.org is professional. Please send emails with only a white background and black text in the content of the email. Use only Times New Roman or Verdana.
