We are asking our supporters to make a ‘Pledge for Seb’ in 2017, and it couldn’t be simpler. Just follow these simple steps to make a New Years’ Resolution with a difference.

  • Download and print the PDF of our Pledge For Seb sheet. No printer? Don’t worry! Just use a blank sheet of paper and write #PledgeForSeb on it.
  • Write down your Pledge for Seb on the ‘Pledge For Seb’ sheet
  • Ask someone to take a photo of you holding your ‘Pledge for Seb’ sheet. Don’t forget to smile for the camera!
  • Post the picture to our Facebook Wall, Tweet it to us, or tag us on Instagram. Please include the hashtag #PledgeForSeb.
  • For an added twist why not nominate a friend or colleague to make a ‘Pledge for Seb’ – encouraging some friendly rivalry and spreading awareness of the Trust on social media.
  • If you are not into social media please email it to or post it to Pledge For Seb, Sebastian’s Action Trust, Unit 8, Tanners Yard, London Road, Bagshot, Surrey, GU19 5HD. If you do pop it in the post though, please remember to let us have your contact details.
  • Fulfil your Pledge For Seb between January and December 2017. And don’t forget to let us know when you have done it and how it went. It would be great if you can send us a photo of you carrying out your pledge.

Your ‘Pledge for Seb’ is a New Year’s resolution with a difference. It can be anything you like to help Sebastian’s Action Trust in some way, whether it be volunteering a few hours or taking on a fundraising initiative. Here are some ideas to get you started:

•Volunteer at one of our events for families.

•Apply to intern for us during your summer break from University.

•Hold a Bake it with Love sale at work, home or your child’s school to raise funds for the Trust.

•Undertake a personal challenge – e.g. sponsored bike ride, skydive, weight loss programme.

•Like and share our Facebook page –help increase our followers.

•Buy some Trust merchandise – choose from our CD – Seb’s Theme, limited edition wildflower print, notelets and much more.

•Attend one of our fundraising events – with everything from dinners to quizzes and golf days to bike rides there is something for everyone.

•Become a befriender. Whether you can spend a few hours once a week or once a month, you could make a big difference to one of the families we support.

•Take part in one of our bucket collections – with a range of dates and locations to choose from there will be one to suit you.

•Take one of our coinathon boxes and place it in your workplace to collect pennies for the Trust. It all adds up and helps us support families of seriously-ill children.

Remember, anything goes!

Whatever your Pledge For Seb, thank you.

Your support makes the world of difference to the families we support
