Growing the new mythology: permaculture values in lyrics, stories and poems
Catherine Walkerguides and transforms small to medium-sized businesses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to become Green Certified through BAGBP.Catherine also became a Certified Permaculture Designer in 2006, where her edible sanctuary gardens have taken root in Sonoma, Napa Valley and a rural community in northern France.
Her environmental activist began in earnest in 2005, when Ms. Walker founded Worldsanctuaries.org, a non-profit permaculture-inspired program for creating ecosystem-friendly habitats that unexpectedly found unique expression in Nelson, Motueka, Golden Bay, New Zealand, inspiring the launch of the Mahoerangi Environmental Education Trust of New Zealand.
In keeping with a lifelong tradition of journaling since her youth, Catherine has walked a spiritual path for over three decades, discovering valuable insights to healing, transformation and wisdom, particularly through nature. Striving to bring transformation into the basic foundation and philosophy of her own life, Catherine has taken her spiritual practices to heart and soul, living in harmony with her deepest sense of purpose and passion for life. Along with several others on this journey,she is midwifing the paradigm shift of a New Earth into existence, and is helping others do the same.
Ms. Walker holds a BA in Conservation Management, is a Waldorf-trained educator and Leadership Ecology graduate of the Regenerative Design Institute.

Catherine is co-creating a visionary team to develop a bright green consultancy called Alchemy of Ecology
that bridgesthe ecological practices of environmental non-profits with hospitality + eco-tourism sectors to create long-term sustainability practices that also boost local economic health.
