Pro Mujer is a non-profit, women’s development and microfinance organization dedicating to alleviating poverty and empowering women micro-entrepreneurs in Latin America. Pro Mujer’s approach to these issues consists of a holistic package of services including: microfinance, business and empowerment training, preventive health education and high-quality, low-cost primary health care. Through the transformative power of these services, not only do these services help women become small business owners, they also help them become owners of their own destinies.

  • This position is ideal for an individual who wants to develop as a manager of innovative philanthropy campaigns and make their mark on a high-performance, fast-paced, growing development operation. You will report directly to and work closely with the Director of Development, Individual Giving.

  • A development background is not essential, but strong speaking and writing skills, the ability to inspire, connect, communicate effectively in person, and the phone or in a letter, and having a variety of performance, marketing, presentation skills are indeed essential to succeed at this position.

Key roles & responsibilities

  • Help Pro Mujer create partnerships of highly engaged, individual givers.
  • Manage campaigns up to $1million designed to invigorate, diversify, engage and broaden Pro Mujer's base of donors
  • Produce, coordinate and manage fundraising and cultivation events
  • Play a lead role in Pro Mujer's philanthropic leadership societies: coordinate Pro Mujer's key $1,000+ donor society
  • Manage the leadership team and activities of Pro Mujer's active and growing Junior Committee
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and management of a focused, strategic approach to cultivating our donors by coordinating all individual giving activities

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Bilingual Spanish Preferred but not Required

Experience: Minimum of two years experience, . A record of continuing professional development is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Salary: Commensurate with experience
