Green Jobs Presentation

STEPS:

  1. Pick your career and let the teacher know. Each student should have a different career.
  2. Open PowerPoint or Prezi and pick a Design or Layout that is creative and attractive.
  3. Research your Career of choice to find the information for the 15+ informational slides.
  4. The information must be put into your own words, do not copy and paste.
  5. Each slide should have the information for the slide, and at least 2 pictures.
  6. Make sure you add transitions and movement to your PowerPoint Presentation.
  7. The first slide should have your name, date, hour, and career title.
  8. The last slide should have a list of website addresses that you got your information from.

Questions that Must Be Answered in your Presentation

  • What is your Green Career?
  • Description of your career
  • Education: What level of education do you need? HS, Tech, bachelors, masters, doctorate? How many years?
  • What kind of education do you need to have?
  • What are the different levels of command in this profession (Worker, researcher, manager, owner, etc.)
  • Skills: What do you need to be good at in order to do well in this career?
  • Working Condition: inside, outside, office, lab…
  • Income: How much money do they make each year?
  • Job Outlook: will there be more or less of this job in the future?
  • What parts of the world have a higher demand for this career?
  • Why did you choose this career?
  • Is this a career that you would consider working in? why?
  • What are the pros and cons to this career?
  • What are some similar careers and give a brief description?
  • How long has this career been around?
