01/10/14 / Police Officer / Authority, Respect and Courtesy / Became involved in sexual conduct with a member of the public whilst on duty / Misconduct Meeting - Management Advice and a development plan
19/12/14 / Police Officer / Discreditable Conduct / Drink-drive offence whilst off duty / Misconduct Hearing - A final written warning was issued to remain on the officer’s personal file for 18 months. The present national approach in relation to drink-drive offences is that each case should be dealt with on its own merits. In this case there were specific mitigating factors which led the misconduct panel to the decision that a final written warning was appropriate. Without these mitigating factors (which were in place prior to the offence), dismissal would have been the appropriate sanction.
23.03.15 / Police Officer / Discreditable Conduct / Whilst off duty behaved in a disorderly manner and was disrespectful towards on-duty police officers. / Misconduct Meeting – A final written warning was issued to remain on file for 18 months.

RESIGNATIONS DURING GROSS MISCONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS

01/07/14 / Police Officer / Honesty and Integrity / Theft by Shoplifting and Fraud / The officer resigned during the investigation. The officer appeared at Worcester Crown Court in January 2015 for the offences of Theft by Shoplifting and Fraud. He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment (suspended for two years), and he was ordered to complete 200 hours unpaid community work.
09/10/14 / Police Officer / Authority, Respect and Courtesy / Verbally aggressive and threatening to line managers / The officer resigned during the investigation. The matters did not meet a criminal threshold.
28/10/14 / Police Officer / Discreditable Conduct / Common Assault on partner (off duty conduct) / The officer was convicted of Common Assault and sentenced to an 18 month community service order, £85 fine and costs of £900. The officer resigned following conviction.
05/03/15 / Police Officer / Honesty and Integrity / Officer failed to investigate a domestic abuse crime, misled a custody officer and subsequently destroyed evidence. / The officer was convicted with one count of Misconduct in a Public Office and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment suspended for two years and was ordered to complete 150 hours unpaid work. The officer resigned following conviction.
