Galadriel was the Queen of Lórien.

Keeper of the Ring Nenya.

Left Middle-earth: September 29, 3021 of the Third Age
Elven lady of Lórien, Galadriel held one of the three rings of the Elven kings, the ring of adamant Nenya, which she used to protect the woodland realm of Lothlórien where she resided with Celeborn. During the War of the Ring, Galadriel and Celeborn offered help to the Fellowship in their perilous quest, giving them shelter after the loss of Gandalf. It was during this stay that Frodo offered Galadriel the One Ring, but in her wisdom she refused it. Before their departure she gave each member of the Fellowship a gift, perhaps the most important of which was the Phial of Galadriel, given to Frodo. The Elven star glass shone even in the darkest places, and helped save Frodo and Sam when they were later lured into the lair of Shelob by Gollum. After the downfall of Sauron and the destruction of the One Ring, she departed for the Undying Lands along with Gandalf and Elrond, the bearers of the three Elven Rings.

-WHITE LADY. Epithet applied to Galadriel by Faramir of Gondor.

Galadriel was referred to as the White Lady. She had fair skin and often wore white robes, and she seemed to shine with a white light. The name is also a contrast with the Dark Lord, with whom she was in opposition.

A title that recurs several times across the histories of both Eldar and Men, from the First Age through to the Third and beyond. It is used most usually to refer to Galadriel of Lórien, whose custom it was to robe herself in white. In the First Age, however, the title had also been used of Galadriel's cousin Aredhel, the White Lady of the Noldor (though in Aredhel's case it described the extraordinary paleness of her skin rather than her preferred mode of dress).

As well as these two Elves, there were also two White Ladies among the race of Men. In the Second Age, Erendis of Westernesse withdrew to live in her remote White House, and became known as the White Lady of Emerië. The final White Lady was Éowyn of Rohan, who - like Galadriel - seems to have gained the title due to her preference for dressing in white.

-LAST RIDING OF THE THREE KEEPERS OF THE RING.

3A3021 September 29. The Three Keepers sailed over Sea.

Born in Aman YT1362. Departed over the sea 3A3021.

Mother to Celebrian.

Galadriel were the youngest and only female of the five children. She was born in Eldamar in Valinor and her true name were Artanis. Calling her Galadriel is calling her by her nickname meaning Noble Woman and given to her by Celeborn.

Galadriel was strong of body, mind and will and she grew taller than most of any Noldor. Galadriel was accountet beuatyful, her hair was rich and golden and radiant like it was touched by the light of the two Trees. Galadriel was the greatest of the Noldor except for Fëanor but she was wiser than he and her wisdom increased within the long years. Galadriel was proud, strong and selfwilled, and like her brother Finrod who were closest to her heart of all her kin she dreamed of far lands and dominions of her own to order as she wished. But she was noble and generous and from her earliest years she had a marvellous gift of insight into minds of others but she judged with mercy and understanding and she withheld it from none save Fëanor from whom she percived a darkness she hatet and feared and there was never friendship between Fëanor and Galadriel. Because of her dreams of far lands she joined the rebellion against the Valar and came under the Doom of Mandos and even after the merciless assault upon the Teleri where she fought fiercely against Fëanor defending her mothers kin she did not turn back; her pride and now her angry desire to follow Fëanor and twart him in any-way she could in whatever lands he might come to. Pride still moved her when at the end of the Elder days Morgoth was at last overtrown she refused the pardon of the Valar and remained in Middle-Earth and it was not until the end of the Third Age when at last all she had desired in her youth came to her hand, the One Ring and the dominion of Middle-Earth, that her wisdom was full grown and she rejectet it, she passed the last test and departet from Middle-Earth forever into the uttermost West.

Years of the Trees.

1449. Some tales say that Fëanor was inspired to create the Silmarils by the golden radiance of Galadriels hair and that he asked her for a tress of it but she denied and refused him. In the light of this the gift Gimli asked and was granted was not a small gesture but an honour beyond hope of even the greatest..

1495. When Fëanor came to Tirion and spoke harsh and fell words Finarfin sought to calm the temper of the Noldor and tried to persuade them to ponder before deeds were done that could not be undone. But the heart of Galadriel was moved by the words of Fëanor and she was eager to leave and see the wide lands of Middle-Earth and perchance have a realm of her own but she had no great love for Fëanor and would not go under his banner.

1496. Galadriel, her brothers and their people left Valinor under their father and Fingolfin after the host of Fëanor and his sons. As this the second trail came out through the Calacirya and moved ahead Araman suddenly they saw a battle was going on and their kindred among the Noldor was slain and fighting the Teleri. The host rushed forward into the battle without knowing the true reason, they thought the Teleri waylaid them on the bidding of the Valar. The host now sped behind the Teleri at the gate of Alqualondë and slew them bitterly or casted them into the sea.

( Some difficulties arises here in the battle of the First Kinslaying. It is in other places and tales told that Galadriel fought against Fëanor with her later husbond Celeborn who was of the Teleri but it is no place finally stated Celeborn was ever born or in Aman. Yet it is still possible she fought against the host of Fëanor percieving the evil and for her mothers kin.)

But whatever happened that cruel day she continued the journey towards Middle-Earth, even when her father returned to Aman she crossed Helcaraxë benieth the banner of Fingolfin after the betrayel and the burning of the ships they stole from the Teleri. These deeds made her only more eager to follow Fëanor and in any way she could twart him.

1500 – 1A1. When they arrived in Middle-Earth after the crossing of the Grinding Ice the Sun arose for the first time.

First Age.

0000-0052. Galadriel and Finrod were long the guests of Thingol and Melian but when Finrod left Galadriel stayed for there was much love between Melian and Galadriel. Galadriel meet Celeborn in Doriath ( the difficulties concerned Celeborn as stated above, maybe they had been separeted ?. )

0052 - 102. In these years Galadriel and Celeborn were married in Doriath and here she was given the name Galadriel by Celeborn which means Noble Woman. And in these years she at times would speak with Melian of the fair years in Valinor.

0102-472. Galadriel visited Nargothrond and her brother Finrod and remained here for a while. No words tell for how long and whether Celeborn was with her or stayed in Doriath. Neither for how long she was in Nargothrond.

0472. ( No later than this year.) Galadriel and Celeborn forsook Beleriand and passed East over the Mountains Ered Luin and went to Eriador before the sack of Nargothrond and Menegroth and first of all the Noldor she came to the inner lands. With them came many Noldor, green-Elves and Grey-Elves, for a while they settlet in the country about lake Nenuial and Galadriel and Celeborn was regarded as Lord and Lady of the Eldar in Eriador.

Second Age.

0350 - 1350. Their daughter Celebrian born. No secure birthdate.

1350-1400. Galadriel left Eregion through the mansions of Khazad-Dum to Loth-Lórien. She took Amroth and Celebrian with her while Celeborn remained in Eregion. The realm was lead by none known king and i suspect it had a status of independent realm benieth Oropher in Mirkwood at the other side of Anduin. The stories tell he was not happy of the increasing population of the Dwarves in Moria but he also resented the the intrusion of Galadriel into Lórien.

1693. Galadriel became the keeper of the Blue Ring "Nenya"

1697 - 1701. Celeborn had to flee Eregion as it was sacked in the War of Elves and Sauron, but he survived in Imladris where Galadriel bringing Celebrian with her found him while Lòrinand was committet to Amroth.

1701 - 1981. Galadriel, Celeborn and maybe Celebrian ( If she did not stay in Imladris where Elrond had fallen in love with her. ) went to the little land between Gwatlò and Anduin in Belfalas at the place later called Dol-Amroth.

Amroth often visited them there, and it was not until Lòrinan was in great peril, Amroth died, and Celeborn and Galadriel went to Lòrinand. Galadriel and Celeborn now took the leadership of Loth-Lorien and from these years Galadriel were consider the Queen of Loth-Lorien.

Third Age.

1100- ?. Gandalf gave Galadriel, as a gift from Yavanna, according to the Earliest Tales, the Ellesar.

3019. ( 16/02 ) Galadriel gave Frodo a phial, the Phial of Galadriel, as a parting gift.
