TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
FROM JFK & LGA AIRPORTS
1. Upon your safe arrival to JFK or LGA Airport, please go to the
baggage claim area and collect your baggage and personal
belongings
2. Follow the signs to “Ground Transportation” and “NY Airport
Service”
3. You will be boarding the “NY Airport Service Express Bus” which is
a shuttle bus from the airport to Port Authority Bus Terminal in NY
City. Port Authority is located between 8th and 9th Avenues and 40th
to 42nd Street
4. The shuttle bus leaves every 20-minutes on the hour from the
airport to Port Authority
5. The cost of the shuttle bus is:
a. JFK to Port Authority $15
b. LGA to Port Authority $12
6. Upon your arrival to Port Authority, go to Shortline Bus Company
(Keep an eye on your personal belongings!!!!)
a. Ticket Purchase: 2nd Floor
b. Buses Depart: 3rd Floor
7. Purchase a ticket from Port Authority to Middletown, NY – Cost is $30
8. Shortline Buses leave Port Authority for Middletown, NY as follows:
a. AM Buses: 8:00 & 10:15
b. PM Buses: 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, 8:30 & 11:00
9. Once you purchase your ticket, please call the office at 845-343-8985
know which bus you will be taking – a member of our staff will greet you at the bus stop
10. The bus trip to camp is less than 2 hours – sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (EWR) TO CAMP
1. Upon your safe arrival to EWR Airport, please go to the baggage claim
area and collect your baggage and personal belongings.
2. Follow the signs to the AirTrain.
3. Before boarding the AirTrain, purchase your ticket at a NJ Transit ticket
vending machine. Follow these Instructions:
• Select NJT rail ticket option
• Enter the station identification number (795) for Middletown, NY
(make sure it says NY and NOT Middletown, New Jersey)
• The cost of the ticket is $20.00
4. Board the AirTrain and Exit at Newark Int’l Airport Train Station.
5. Board the next available train heading to New York – Penn station. You are not going all the way
to NY- Penn. Exit train at Secaucus Junction (2nd Stop).

6. At Secaucus Junction, transfer to the Main / Bergen / Port Jervis Line. This train will take you toMiddletown, NY. (Again, remember Middletown NY, NOT Middletown, New Jersey)
7. Before boarding please call the BRAESIDE OFFICE 845-343-8985 and inform the train you will be taking – a member of our staff will greet you at the train station.
8. The train ride to camp is 1 ½ hours – sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
