From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. After about two miles, make a right turn onto Johnston Street (US Hwy 167) at the stop light. After you cross the railroad tracks, Convent Street is about the 8th street on the left. Turn left onto Convent Street and go one block. Blue Moon is on the left.

From Lafayette, take I-10 East to the Breaux Bridge Exit # 109.Turn right, heading South, onto LA 328 (Rees Street).Proceed a mile or two into downtown Breaux Bridge until Rees ends and Ts into Bridge Street.Turn right and proceed over the Breaux Bridge bridge - Pont Breaux. Cafe Des Amis is two short blocks ahead on the left at the corner of Domengeaux Street.Look for an old storefront with a bay window, an elevated covered sidewalk and wooden pillars out front.

Cowboy’s - 207 North Ambassador Caffery Parkway Lafayette, LA (337) 232-3232

From I-49, head West on I-10 and take exit # 100 onto Ambassador Caffery Parkway. At the top of the ramp, get into the right lane and bear right onto Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Cowboy's is about 100 yards ahead on the left, just past a Ryder Truck Rental place. Note that the club is partially obscured by a fence at the edge of the Ryder property. It is in a small shopping center called Bacque Plaza, but is in a stand-alone building. There is an Exxon station across the road. You will find plenty of well-lit off-street parking in the shopping center parking lot just to the right of the club.

DI’s Cajun Restaurant - 6561 Evangeline Hwy. Basile, LA (337) 432-5141

From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49 after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 21 miles to the 3rd Opelousas exit, Exit 19B, marked "US 190 West". The exit ramp will curl around to the right and place you heading West. Take US 190 West straight through downtown Opelousas (a one way street for a while) and head for Eunice, about 22 miles away.Continue on US 190 through Eunice.About 10 miles West of Eunice, just before entering the small town of Basile, turn left (South) on LA 97.The turnoff is about 1.8 miles after the divided highway ends.The intersection is marked with a flashing yellow caution light.Proceed South on LA 97 for about 8.2 miles and look for the well-lit DI's on your right.There isn't a lot on this road, just rice field after rice field, so be looking for some lights in the distance to guide you. If you should come to the intersection with LA 98, you have missed DI's.Note that LA 97 is a long, winding asphalt road in some disrepair and will be very dark and desolate at night.Please exercise some caution.

From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. After about one mile, make a right turn onto West Willow Street (Rue Des Saules Ouest) at the stop light. There is a shopping center on the far right corner with a Super 1 Foods grocery and a Conn's store. (Note that the street signs have different names in French and English.) If you pass by the Lafayette Welcome Center on your left, you have missed the turn. At the second traffic light on Willow Street, less than a mile from Evangeline, turn right onto St. Antoine Street. El Sid O's is on the left at the end of the short block, at the corner of Martin Luther King Drive.

From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49 after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 21 miles to the 3rd Opelousas exit, Exit 19B, marked "US 190 West". The exit ramp will curl around to the right and place you heading West. Take US 190 West straight through downtown Opelousas (a one way street for a while) and head for Eunice, about 22 miles away.As you come into downtown Eunice, and just after you cross the railroad tracks, you'll come to the intersection with LA 13 at the red light.Turn right onto LA 13 and proceed North to Mamou, about 13 miles distant.You'll wind through rice field after rice field until skirting the Western edge of Mamou (downtown is to your right).Slow down and look for a large red brick sign reading "Mamou - the Cajun Music Capital of the World".Turn right onto the street adjacent to that sign and proceed about 4 blocks to one of the very few red lights in Mamou.Turn left and proceed about 3 blocks to what passes for downtown and look for Fred's Lounge on the right side, diagonally from an old tire store / gas station.

From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. After about two miles, make a right turn onto Jefferson Boulevard (not Jefferson Street!) at the stop light. Take the tunnel under the railroad and when you come up on the other side, look over your right shoulder, across the parking lot to see the club (in an old brick warehouse). Turn right at that intersection and right again into one of the several parking lots.

From Lafayette, take I-10 East to the Breaux Bridge Exit # 109.Turn right, heading South, onto LA 328 (Rees Street).Proceed a mile or two into downtown Breaux Bridge until Rees ends and Ts into Bridge Street.(Note on your right is the Breaux Bridge bridge - Pont Breaux.) Turn left onto Bridge street and go one short block to the traffic light at Poydras Street. Turn right onto Poydras Street (also LA 387) and travel a couple short blocks to the first traffic light where the Grand Point Highway Ts in from the left.There is a Chevron station on the near left corner. Turn left onto the Grand Point Highway (LA 347) and proceed about 1/4 mile and look for La Poussiere on the left just past Hebert's Grocery Store.

Mulate’s - 325 Mills Avenue Breaux Bridge, LA (337) 332-4648

From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. Continue South on Evangeline several miles through town to the 7th traffic light (I think) where Pinhook Road crosses. This is a fairly big intersection with gas stations on three corners. (BP, Exxon, and Conoco) Turn left and travel a couple of miles to the 3rd traffic light (I think) where Carmel Drive and Breaux Bridge Road intersect with Pinhook (Route Pinhook Est).On the near right hand corner is a curved metal 'Quonset Hut' building housing an oil change place. There will be a sign reading "Mulates 6 Mi. Ahead" pointing to the right.Turn right onto Breaux Bridge Road (LA 94) and proceed 6-7 miles to the outskirts of Breaux Bridge.On the right, just before the second set of railroad tracks you'll see Mulate's.There will be a lighted sign out front as well as on the front of the building listing that night's band.If you miss Mulate's, LA 94 will dead-end into LA 31 in Breaux Bridge.

From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49 after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 21 miles to the 3rd Opelousas exit, Exit 19B, marked "US 190 West". The exit ramp will curl around to the right and place you heading West. Take US 190 West straight through downtown Opelousas (a one way street for a while). About seven miles from Opelousas, you'll just begin to see the top of Lawtell, LA's watertank. In about the middle of downtown Lawtell, after the divided highway has split, there is a green road sign noting that Church Point is to the left. Just before that sign is a dirt road taking off to the right. Take that dirt road over the railroad tracks to the first paved cross street. Turn right on the paved street and be looking on the left side for an old, run-down barn-looking building set back behind a large dirt and gravel parking lot. It has no sign or any other identifying marks. If you can find it on the first try, you indeed are living right.

Pat’s Atchafalaya Club - 1008 Henderson Levee Road Henderson, LA (337) 228-7110

From Lafayette, take I-10 East to the Henderson Exit, #115.At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and immediately get into the left turn lane.Turn left onto LA 352 directly behind the truck stop. Proceed on LA 352 until you cross over a bridge (about 2.3 miles) and dead end into the back of the levee which surrounds the Atchafalaya Basin Swamp. At this intersection on the left is Pat's Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant.

Randol’s - 2320 Kaliste Saloom Road Lafayette, LA (337) 981-7080

From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. Continue South on Evangeline several miles through town to the 7th traffic light (I think) where Pinhook Road crosses. This is a fairly big intersection with gas stations on three corners. (BP, Exxon, and Conoco) Turn right On Pinhook and travel several miles to the 3rd traffic light (just past the Vermillion River drawbridge) where Kaliste Saloom Road crosses. There is a Taco Bell on the left and a BayouLand garden shop on the right. Turn right on Kaliste Saloom and proceed 2.7 miles - it seems like a long ways.You'll see a Mexican restaurant (Casa Ole) with a green sign on the right. Randol's sign is also green and is just beyond. Both are opposite some movie theaters and diagonally across from a large field. If you reach Ambassador Caffery Parkway (about a 1/4 mile further) you have missed Randol's.

From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49 after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 21 miles to the 3rd Opelousas exit, Exit 19B, marked "US 190 West". The exit ramp will curl around to the right and place you heading West. Take US 190 West straight through downtown Opelousas (a one way street for a while). About seven miles from Opelousas, you'll just begin to see the top of Lawtell, LA's watertank. When you first see the watertank, slow down and look for Richard's Club on the left. Highway US 190 at this point is a flat and wide, divided 4 lane highway and it's easy to fly right past the place. If you enter Lawtell, you've gone about 3/4 mile too far.

Slim’s Y-Ki-Ki - ??? Hwy. 167 North Opelousas, LA (337) 942-9980

North From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49 after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 21 miles to the 3rd Opelousas exit, Exit 19B, marked "US 190 West". The exit ramp will curl around the right and place you heading West. Take US 190 West (also marked as W. Landry Street) into downtown Opelousas. It becomes a one way street heading West. At about the center of town, just before the town square, is Union Street, a one way street to the right, heading North. It is marked with a sign showing Hwy. 182 heading to Ville Platte.Take a right on Union, heading North, and travel about 9-10 blocks. Union deadends into Church Street, right in front of Opelousas Catholic High School.Make a hard left onto Church Street. At the first traffic light on Church street, about 1 block over, make a right turn onto Main Street, which is also Hwy. 182. Less than a mile ahead on Main Street, you'll see Slim's on the left side.Just past Slim's on the right side is a large grocery store where you can turn around, if you passed it.

Vermilionville - 300 Fisher Road Lafayette, LA (337) 233-4077

From I-10, take exit # 103A onto Evangeline Throughway (Route Evangeline), a divided highway, heading South. Continue South on Evangeline several miles through town to the 7th traffic light (I think) where Pinhook Road crosses. Continue South on Evangeline and cross the bridge over the Vermilion River. Turn left at the light at the next intersection (w/ Surrey Street). Proceed less than ½ mile down Surrey Street, watching for the Vermilionville sign on the left. The complex is set down in a bowl next to the river. Surrey Street is less than a mile south of Pinhook and runs in front of the Lafayette Airport.

Whiskey River Landing - 1365 Henderson Levee Road Henderson, LA (337) 228-8567

Note that you will pass other signs pointing to other places with the term "Landing" in them.At the Angelle's sign, turn left onto the gravel drive that angles up and over the levee.Angelle's is on the far side of the levee and extends out over the water.
