Sir Knights, The officers and I thank you for electing us to serve you. With your attendance and support we can accomplish much during this Chivalric Year. The attendance to our installation was outstanding. I thank all the Sir Knights for their attendance and support. The fellowship was fantastic, the food (prepared by Chef & Bro. Lee Dematteo & family) awesome, and the installationextraordinary. Thanks again to PDDGC SK Howard Coleman, Installing Marshall, R. E. SK. Jon Mayberry Installing Officer, and Eminent Grand Warder SK David Carter, who conducted the ceremony honoring the flag of our country and Rev. and SK Richard Headley Installing Prelate. We were honored to have in attendance a distinguished Past Commander of Commandery No 1. The Grand Master of Masons in Virginia 2007/2008, Most WorshipfulGeorge Bernard Dungan, Jr.

Easter Sunrise Service Sun. Apr. 8th @ 7:30 A.M. at the George Washington National Memorial. Coffee and doughnuts served prior to the parade. No vehicles allowed up the hill after 7:00 A.M. Parade steps off at 7:15 A.M. Car Pool will depart Ferry Farm Parking Lot behind 7 – 11 on Rt. 3 E. at 5:30 A.M.

Shenandoah KT School of Instruction Apr. 13th & 14th in Culpeper conducted by SK Jon Wayne Mayberry, Em. Grand Instructor General. Instruction begins evening of the 13th at 7:00 P.M. and morning of the 14th @ 9:A.M. A carpool will leave Ferry Farm parking lot behind 7 – 11 @ 6: 00 P.M. on the 13th and 8:00 A.M. on the 14th. All Sir Knights but more importantly All officers please attend.

Grand Conclave of VirginiaMay 3, 4, and 5, 2007 at the Doubletree Hotel in Charlottesville. Room rates $87.00. Make your reservations directly with the Hotel at 1-800-494-9467 Registrations received after April 9, 2007 will be made on space available basis at prevailing rates. April Conclave April 19th 2007 at 7:30 P.M. Necessary Dues Increase to be discussed. Dinner will be served at 6:30 P.M. Sir Knights and their Ladies are invited to attend for good food and fellowship. The newly formed Social Order of the Beauceants (SOOB) Assembly No. 266 will help with the meal and hold their meeting in the Baker Room following the dinner.

Welcome to our 5 new Templars; SK’s Steve Sanford, Martin Smith, Ryan Knoke, Ron Curlings and Bob Marlett and a special thanks to Richmond Commandery No. 2 for performing the orders on the 24th of March 2007. These Sir Knights had the honor of being knighted by the Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Virginia, SK James Field.

Sir Knights there has been renewed interest in forming a drill team. Please contact me for further information if you are interested.
