STEEPLECHASE MEET

ENTRIES:Bring anyone that you want to get a time on.

Do your entry cards at the track. Different colored cards will be available at the track to identify the grade for award purposes.

ENTRIES ARE DUE TO THE CLERK BY 11:30 PM

ENTRY FEE:$5 / individual or $30 blanket fee (covers boys and/or girls)

SEEDING:Runners will be seeded by time. Awards will be separated by grade. Heats will be run - slow to fast.

SCORING:Non-Scoring

AWARDS:Medals to top 10 in each grade group

(9 G, 9B, 10 G, 10 B, 11 G, 11 B, 12 G , 12 B)

(selectively classified runners will place with Freshmen)

SCHEDULE:12:00Girls sections, followed by Boys sections

COMMENTS:

We are just trying to make an attempt at giving more people an opportunity to get a time in the steeplechase or for coaches to perhaps try someone out in the event. We understand that most schools are on vacation and probably have kids away. But we also know that not many people have meets scheduled during that week and thought that this might be a good time to run this event.

This is a low key meet designed simply to give the kids another opportunity to run and get some nice awards. We hope that you can come and look forward to hearing from you. If you have any other questions you can call me at home or at school or e-mail me.

ENTRIES:Maximum of 3 girls per school & Maximum of 3 boys per school

Bring any girls or boys that you would like to have do a Pentathlon.

ENTRY CARDS:DUE TO THE CLERK BY 9:15 AM

Include the following information:

1. Athletes Name

2. Competitor ID number (ID numbers found on the Section 2 website)

3. School

4. Starting ht. for HJ

ENTRY FEE:Girls = $10.00 each or $25.00 for max of 3 girls

Boys = $10.00 each or $25.00 for max of 3 boys
