Market details:

In 2017 we are running four pilot markets on behalf of Connswater Greenway Community Trust at C.S. Lewis Square.

The dates and themes for the markets are:

-Saturday 10th June, 10am – 3pm : Green Living Fair in partnership with The Book Festival. The focus is on recycling, up-cycling, and sustainable living. There will also be an element of second-hand and rare books.

-Saturday 29th July, 10am – 3pm: Regular artisan market with live music.

-Sunday 20th August,10am – 3pm: Artisan market with focus on healthy living, as part of Connswater 5K and 10K.

-Sunday 17th September, 10am – 3pm: Regular artisan market with live music.

Criteria:

Stalls and products must be of high quality and comply with all health and safety standards and regulations.

Food businesses must be registered with Belfast City Council. (Please enquire with our team if you have questions about this)

All stall holders must have Public and Products Liability Insurance (min. £5million).

Local East Belfast produce and products of high quality get first priority.

A community stall will provided to share among local East Belfast businesses. The same criteria applies. Tourism related products must promote East Belfast as a top tourist destination.

All products on sale must be reasonably priced and well presented.

Any claims in relation to the standards of your products, e.g. ‘Organic’ must be documented and documentation must be displayed.

It is important that you actively promote your stall/business and the Market prior to each market day.
