Subject: Mandarin Immersion / Time: 8:40-12:00PM / Special note: Ms Lin was late this morning because her car’s window was broken. There are three teachers prepare in class before Ms Lin arrive in school.

Area #1 Ms A comes to class to tell the students why Ms Lin was late this morning. And she asks them what the broken window means and what the solution could be. Ms A uses a quiet chalk to make their points of rate of quiet.
Area #2 Ms A asks students to have a math game. They start in a number, and let students count in mind and product the answers by using addition, minus and multiplication.
Ms. B tells a story why his fingers were cut to remind students not to break the rules. Then Mr. B asks them to do some quiet activities.
Area #3 Ms C arrives in class, and starts to set up a “Secret Baby”. She forgives the thief who steals her staffs and breaks her window. She teaches students to have comprehensive heart.
Area #4 Ms C teach 做, the definition, stroke, and sentence samples, then she asks students to give her a sentence individually.
Area #5 Ms C hands out the exercises to all students, and asks them to finish by sitting their own spots. / Teacher-student interaction
Reflection:
Students raise hands to answer the questions excitingly.
All students want to answer the questions, so the class is very noise.
Most students feel happy to have this game to learn the math. Ms A gives them effective feedbacks to students.
Some students feel scary and nervous to listen to the story. There is a bit noise in the reading time. And Mr. B asks them to be quiet immediately.
Students are excited to see Ms C to come to class, and ask what happen to her car. Ms Lin tells students the whole story about her broken window.
Students feel interested in做, and make some funny sentences as well.
Also, she asks one kids to write做on the board and other kids follow to write on the carpet.
Ms C encourages students to ask questions, and helps them one by one immediately.
