First Run News​

  • TODAY TIKIZ WILL BE HERE.TIKIZ time for Jr High will be from 11:22-11:52 and High School from 11:52 to 12:22. Elementary will follow schedule sent from Erica LeBlanc. This is the schedule that we will use for the rest of the year. The truck will be located at the new gym.
  • ​SENIOR BETA:Any junior or senior who was ACTIVE last year and would like to run for class officer should sign up with Mrs. Corkran by Wednesday,September 27. Our first Sr. Beta meeting/voting will take place Friday, September 29th, from 7:15-7:35. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND!
  • Senior Beta Contracts and $25 due TODAY.

Elementary

  • Homecoming t-shirts are now on sale. Your first hour teacher will give you an order form. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WEAR HOMECOMING TSHIRTS EVERY FRIDAY OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR BEGINNING ON HOMECOMING DAY! Must turn in order money by Wednesday, October 4.
  • Extra yearbooks for sale. $50. Purchase in the library before class.
  • TIKIZ will be Friday, September 22nd.
  • It is the beginning of a new year for Boxtop collection. The class with the most Boxtops at the end of the year will receive an ice cream party on Honor's Day. Please give Boxtops to your homeroom teacher or first hour.
  • Jr high cheerleaders are collecting toilet paper rolls. Please give them to Erica LeBlanc.

  • The first FBLA club meeting will be on Tuesday, September 26 in the morning at 7:20 in Mrs. Sonnier’s room. All members MUST be present.
  • FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will have their 1st meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Meeting will be held upstairs in the big gym DURING high school lunch period. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Seniors

  • Every senior needs to turn in pictures to Mrs. Sonnier for the slide show. You will need to turn in 1 baby pic, 1 elementary age pic, 1 junior high pic, and 1 senior pic.

Teacher Announcements

  • Homecoming shirt order forms are being sent out to all teachers with a first hour class. The instructions are on the brown envelope, just put any orders you get in the envelope. Mrs. Sonnier will send a student daily to pick up orders—if we miss you just stick brown envelope in Mrs. Sonnier’s box in lounge.However, if you prefer that I don’t send a student to your room, just send me an email and I will skip your class. You can always stick the envelope in my box, if I don’t hear from you I will continue to send someone to your room to pick up orders. I will return the envelope to you every day by putting it back in your box. HIGH SCHOOL DANCELINE & FBLA CLUB THANKS YOU!!!!
  • Be specific when ordering ink. The brand name and number are needed. Please order by emailing or filling out the order form located in the workroom and drop in Mrs. Begnaud's box
  • ​PLC we will have a speaker. No PLC on Tuesday, if you usually attend on Tuesday then attend either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.
