JOB FACTOR / DEFINTION/EXPLANATION
Job Knowledge / Possesses the knowledge and skill set needed to perform essential functions of all roles under his/her responsibility
Product Knowledge / Demonstrates a solid knowledge of ABC Products; proactively seeks information on new products and shares information with staff, peers and DCABC.
Customer Relation/Service / Greets all customers in a friendly and professional manner; shares product knowledge with customers; personally enhances the customer’s shopping experience. Behaves in a customer focused manner with an “always make the customer happy “ approach and demands the same from his/her staff.
Store Appearance / Maintains a clean and organized space to maximize store appeal to the customers; Effectively merchandises the store (i.e. display quality and location, price labels, signage, etc…). Supports ABC directives in displays and merchandising.
Innovation & Creativity / Brings new ideas to the table and accepts/embraces others’ ideas that have a positive impact on store operations and/or the DCABC community. Uses creative merchandising strategies within the statutes and guidelines.
Responsible Sales / Understands, supports and follows policy in regards to the social responsibility of DCABC and the commitment to never sale to underage customers or people that are intoxicated and communicates the reason, expectation and policy to his/her team and hold team accountable for their performance in this area.
Productivity / Manages required and requested tasks and projects within acceptable timelines; minimizes down time in the store for self and staff membersby managing the schedule and assigning duties, tasks and timelines
Communication Skills / Clearly communicates expectations and company messages to staff members and offers training and coaching to ensure that expectations can be met. Sufficiently communicates store and staff activity to the General Manager.
Work Habits / Demonstrates punctuality, attendance, and proper work appearance. Requires minimal amount of supervision; demonstrates initiative to maximize staff and other resources; works as a team player and always sets a positive example. Demands good work habits from his/her team.
Compliance / Promotes and adheres to organization policy in a positive and professional manner.
People Management / Resolves personnel issues and conflict in a professional and timely manner; effectively coaches and counsels employees when needed; assists staff members in developing/enhancing their skill set; provides training when needed; Promotes teamwork among staff members and communicates DCABC vision, policy and directives
Fiscal Management / Effectively manages the work schedule, part-time assignments and leave requests of store employees in manner that best serves DCABC’s business. Manages store expenditures to ensure that budgets are met and that expenditures are appropriate and approved.
Inventory Management / Ensure proper stock levels to maximize sales and customer service. All inventory is accounted for and reported accurately as per DCABC policy.
