Take children outdoors for 1 hour to take part in Big Schools Birdwatch and record the different birds that you see.

Plenary: / Bring children back together. Can they remember which birds they saw? How did they know which birds they were? Show the BSBW Early years resource cards to confirm what the children have seen.
