APPOINTMENT NOTICE

The J&K State Power Development Corporation Ltd, a fast growing power generation utility with its registered office at Exhibition Grounds, Srinagar, Kashmir intends to appoint Finance, Cost and Accounts professionals in the pay scale of Rs. 10,000-325-15,200 plus allowances. Application in plain paper are invited from individuals belonging to the age group of 18 to 40 years as on 01 September 2007 and meeting the following eligibility conditions:

  1. Qualified Chartered Accountant having passed the Final Examination conducted by ICAI.
  2. Minimum experience of two years as Manager in a limited company is desirable.
  3. Should be a Permanent Resident of J&K State.

  1. Qualified Chartered Accountant having passed Final Examination conducted by ICAI.
  2. Minimum experience of two years as Manager in a limited company is desirable.
iii. Should be a Permanent Resident of J&K State.
3. / Manager (Cost) / 1 /
  1. Qualified Cost & Works Accountant having passed Final Examination conducted by Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
  2. Minimum experience of two years as Manager in a limited company is desirable.
iii. Should be a Permanent Resident of J&K State.
4. / Manager (Audit) / 1 /
  1. Qualified Chartered Accountant having passed Final Examination conducted by ICAI.
  2. Minimum experience of two years as Manager in a limited company is desirable.
iii. Should be a Permanent Resident of J&K State.

It is further added that:

i)Managers at the above pay scales are expected to receive initial salary of around Rs. 23,000/ per month .

ii)Government Servants or other employees of PSUs meeting the eligibility conditions may apply through their controlling officers.

iii)Applications in sealed envelopesuper-scribed as “APPLICATION FOR MANAGER-FINANCE”, ‘APPLICATION FOR MANAGER-ACCOUNTS”, “ APPLICATION FOR MANAGER-AUDIT”, “APPLICATION FOR MANAGER-COSTS”, as the case maybe, and addressed to the Managing Director, J&K State Power Development Corporation Ltd, Exhibition Ground, Srinagar 190 009, J&K alongwith detailed biodata and self attested copies of all testimonials should be submitted by or before 29 September 2007.

iv)The posts of Manager (Accounts), Manager (Finance) and Manager (Audit) are interchangeable.

v)An individual who fulfils the eligibility conditions may apply for more than one post, but, he/she must indicate the order of his/her preference for posts to be considered.
