Intersection on KBIA Guest Guide

Thank you for agreeing to participate in KBIA's Intersection discussion program.

Below is some information to help with your visit. Please feel free to call the numbers listed any time for help or with questions about the program.

GETTING THERE:

-Intersection is taped at the Reynolds Journalism Institute studios, 401 S. Ninth St., Columbia, MO 65211 (on the MU campus).

-The main RJI Building entrance is on Ninth Street in downtown Columbia, diagonally across from the Heidelberg.

TIME:

-11:30 a.m. to 1p.m.

-Please meet us inside RJI's main Ninth Street entrance. A producer will meet you there in the lobby at 11.30 a.m.

-The show will start promptly at Noon and run through 1 p.m.

PARKING:

-Unfortunately there is no special parking for our studios. Metered parking on the street is the best option. We recommend allowing at least 15 minutes to park.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

-Intersection is a weekly hour-long community roundtable that provides in-depth discussion on topics of importance to the mid-Missouri community. The program airs live on KBIA2 and on the Internet from 12-1 p.m. Mondays.

-An edited, 30-minute version is rebroadcast on KBIA/91.3 FM at 6:30 p.m. the same day. The full program also appears later in the week on Columbia's public access television channel, CAT-TV.

-The show is a joint project of KBIA and the Reynolds Journalism Institute.

PREPARATION:

-No preparation is necessary for the program. You’ve been selected as a guest because of your knowledge and interest in the chosen topic, so please feel free to engage informally in the conversation. You will not need any prepared notes, as we prefer the discussion to be spontaneous.
