Sr. Vice Commandant called to order the regular meeting of the Marine Corps League, CPL J.R. Spears Det #066 at 1900 on 11 April 2016.

SJA accounted for 40 members present and 5 guests.

  1. Approval of minutes from last meeting

Adjunct read the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were approved with a correction on the date of the Dog Pound mtg May 28th

  1. Old business/Open issues

1.  Sr. Vice Commandant Fernandez made opening remarks. is the upcoming events for the HAU, Car Show, and website and the change of the date to May 21st for the Social at the Gun Range.

3.  S-1: Welcome packages are waited to printed

4.  S-4: Mobile trailer completed and inventory.

5.  S-6: Revamping the website.

6.  Paymaster: The paymaster’s report was read and approved subject to audit. Membership since the 1st of the new year 25 additional. Ed Rouse briefed the status of the Heroes Fund.

8.  SJA: Neal is the Action Officer for the Marine Corps League Birthday Ball

9.  PAO: Upcoming HAU BBQ for the sponsors and honorary board of directors

11.  SvcOff: Vietnam commencement will continue throughout the year giving out lapel pins

1.  April election done with everyone staying in their assigned all cast 1 unanimous vote

2.  Awards tracker to keep track of the awards and schedule awards ceremony

7.  Ferguson air show May 30th

9.  Flag retirement ceremony by the boy scouts on May 29th
