A meeting of Southborough Town Council will be held at the Council Offices, 137 London Road, Southborough on Thursday 30 June 2016 at 7.00 p.m. at which your attendance is required.

2.DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY AND OTHER SIGNIFICANT INTERESTS

Members, who have a Disclosable Pecuniary or Other Significant Interest within the meaning of the Kent Code of Conduct 2012 in any matter appearing on the agenda, are invited to declare that interest at this stage and sign the register accordingly.

3.PUBLIC OPEN SESSION

Standing Order 60(a). Members of the public may speak under this item as long as 24 hours notice of their wish to do so has been given the Town Clerk, and that the subject is relevant to this Committee. No speech may be for longer than five minutes except by resolution of the Committee or Council.

4.MINUTES

The minutes of the Full Council meeting held on the 28 April 2016 and 26 May 2016and the Annual Town Council Meeting of the 24 May 2016, need to be agreed and signed as a correct record.

5.TOWN MAYOR’S ENGAGEMENTS

6.COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS

To approve the proceedings of the following committee:-

7.LLOYDS BANK

Members to note the response from Lloyds Bank. Further discussions to take place on any further actions by the Town Council.

8.MOTION

The following motion has been put forward by Cllr Lewis-Grey.

“Southborough Town Council supports the Hub and is eager to see the planning application progress. We understand the risk to delays of approval for the exterior plans and recognise the need for the continuedspeedy publication of all non-confidential information for residents.”

9.MOTION

The following motion has been put forward by Cllr Lester.

“Southborough Town Council supports the next steps and timelines as submitted by the Project Manager and agrees to move forward within the stated time frame.”

10.REGISTER OF ATTENDANCE

Members to note the attached register of attendance for the last year May 2015 to May 2016. This is now on the website.

11.PROTECTION OF THE PLAYING FIELDS

Cllr Oakford will give an update on detail relating to the protection of the playing fields.

12.PENNINGTON GROUNDS PAVILION LEASE

Members to see the attached lease compiled by Kent Legal, for the use of the Pavilion as a Pre-School and Tea Rooms. Members to discuss and approve the document to enable it to be signed and sealed by the Chairman.
