Email Conversation between Lauren and David

Hi there Lauren, Lisa...

I need to know how early I can get into the building to set up on Friday. I'm hoping around 8 AM.... Also, please remind me; will you be providing me with an armless chair and table like last year? I believe you got me an 8 footer. I might have brought along an extra 4 footer to create a little L shape. Please remind me what you'll be providing. Also a reminder: It's essential that there is electrical power where I am.

Please let me know answers/confirmation. I'll send out a press release later today or tomorrow....Looking forward to seeing you all...

Hi David – I’m taking care of publicity for BPQ’s quilt show. I’d love to have you help spread the word. (and I will likely buy another CD from you again this year! Probably the harp and flute combo for my niece so pls make sure to have copies of that with you)

I have several types of email blasts that could work.

1. Simple email that you can forward on with the below info

3. For press-related contacts, you could send the following email with both enclosures

Eastside quilting guild Block Party Quilters is having their annual Quilt Show in November. The show features Puyallup-based artist, Colleen Wise who is an award-winning quilter, and local harpist David Michael (more comments here!)

The show is held at the Issaquah Community Center November 11-13 and draws an audience from all over the Puget Sound region. Quilting is a very visual medium so it is also great for photographs.

Enclosed is a description of our Quilt Show and BPQ. To coordinate press activities, please contact BPQ secretary, Lauren Calaby, at

Thanks David! Lauren
