Reading, Motion & adoption of the Agenda:

Omega Psi Phi to be added to new business. Delta Sigma Theta motions to adopt amended agenda, Omega Psi Phi seconds; all are in favor

Report of officers:

1. Vice President of Administration

A. Reading, additions or corrections to the previous minutes. Omega Psi Phi motions to adopt minutes, Phi Beta Sigma seconds; all are in favor

B. Budget needs to be adjusted again.

2. Vice President of Programs

A. Needs chapter member headcount for NPHC picnic to delegate supply list to chapters proportionally. Please submit a count by the end of March.

3. President

A. NAACP movie tonight at 7pm SSC auditorium.

Chapter Reports

*Alpha Phi Alpha:Hosting district conference this prior weekend.

*Alpha Kappa Alpha:can food drive Monday Feb 15th. Volunteering at C.O.G.I.C. on 2/14/16.

*Kappa Alpha Psi: Absent

*Omega Psi Phi:Continued risk management and encouragers program, tutoring at Chenal elementary. Omega Psi Phi plus pageant interest meeting 2/28/16.Que week March 6-12th. Requesting April 16th for Omega Plus pageant.

*Delta Sigma Theta:attended Rosalyn Miller farewell party this morning. Working on partnering with Omega Psi Phi for Flint Water Crisis donation effort.

*Phi Beta Sigma:won 2nd place in basketball tournament. Service at Philander and mentoring in TRIOS lab.Forrest hills stem academy cup stacking competition. Attended NPHC conference. Sigma week-THEY’RE COMING. Regional 4/7-4/10.

*Zeta Phi Beta: attended AFLV conference. Taught nutrition at middle school.Zeta week partnering with AKA. Monday will have interest meeting. March of Dimes in April.State conference 3/12. Mentoring at Juvenile center 3/20.

*Sigma Gamma Rho:absent

Standing Committee Reports:

1.NPHC WEEK Committee

A. Nothing to report.

2. UMOJA Chair

A. Reminder to begin working on themes. Discussed possibility of using Jack Stephens as a location, detailed costs of facility and compared to campus cost again.

Unfinished/Old Business

Study session 3/10/16. NPHC picnic 4/23/16. Movie night next Thursday. Greek week opinion on unity step show.Discussion. Delta Sigma Theta motioned to not have a unity show with other councils. Alpha Phi Alpha seconds; ALL are in favor. NPHC votes NO

New Business

Green Dot programs for men and women at 6pm. Men in meeting room G and Women in leadership lounge.
