Call to Order and approval of agenda

Review of minutes – Approval of February minutes tabled until March meeting

Garden Coordinator/Winter Garden Chores/Wood Chips

·  Karsten cut many of the branches hanging over the fence

·  Water to be restored in next few weeks

·  Wood chips not to be stored in front of the house (re: recent delivery of wood chips)

·  Winter garden chores include continue with fencing repairs, soaker hose repairs, construction of front gate, removal of garden tools from floor of shed, construction of plywood storage unit with 2 L bottles

·  Next workday on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 9:30 am

Communications

·  Wayne to clean up the Wormturners account, which still has some activity

·  Facebook page has many visitors

·  Meetup has the most activity

Treasurer Report

·  Savings: $1285; Checking: $531

·  Bills recently paid include last insurance payment for 2014 and small amount on water bill

Additional Business

·  AHA quarterly meeting at Morrisville Town Hall on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 8:30 am

·  Booth at Western Wake Farmers’ Market on Saturday, April 4, 2015 (Donna and Karsten)

·  Karsten to follow-up on vendors’ night at Morrisville Aquatic Center

·  Jane to follow-up on when MCG lease expires

·  Wayne to send out annual survey for vegetables to be grown this year in 2 weeks

·  The greenhouse near the compost piles will be removed due to lack of use and standing water issue (ie, potential for mosquito breeding)

·  Discussion of mosquito repellant plants that can be grown, including lemongrass and marigolds

·  Introduction of potential new members
