AMSTERDAM, Netherlands. January 31, 2011– Following news of its acquisition by Jade Design, Ltd., Sherbourn Technologies is taking the occasion of the 2011 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) to featurethree new models, including a new HDMI AV processor, HDMI AV receiver, and many new amplifiers and related components, many of which feature an integrated Control4™ controller.

“One of the best aspects of our recent move is the way in which Jade Design is committed to not only continuing the Sherbourn high-end tradition, but they are equally committed to expanding our reach into the custom installation channel,” said Dan McGrath, Director of Sales, Sherbourn Technologies. “Their understanding of and appreciation for the Sherbourn name ensures these new products will be the best performers in their price class.”

To be featured in Control 4’s ISE booth #11F82, the new PMC-2 7.1 media processor/controller, PMR-7125 7.1 media receiverand 7-350 multichannel power amplifier offer the unprecedented value and performance associated with the Sherbourn name.

Offering true audiophile performance with the benefit of Control4 technology, the PMC-2 7.1 processor/controller features specially designed audio stages, with dual core DSP processors to handle the latest and most demanding high definition audio codecs and algorithms with finesse. For the best end-user experience, Sherbourn offers drivers for iPad® and iPhone® integration.

Designed with the high-end installer in mind, the PMC-2 features full Ethernet control, HDMI 1.3a capability, 3D support, balanced I/O on 7.1 channels, a high performance Genesis/Torino scaling engine, and a full color on-screen display with transparency over live video.

The PMR-7125 7.1 media receiver is geared to end-users who are looking for performance that is typically associated with separate components, but with the convenience and space efficiency of an audio/video receiver. A massive torroidal power supply supports seven channels of high power (125W), high current amplification. Sophisticated dual core DSP processors handle the latest high definition audio codecs and algorithms, while the useful, intuitive feature set simplifies operation and setup.

Similar to the PMC-2 processor/controller, the PMR-7125 media receiver is HDMI 1.3a compatible, offers 3D support, features an Ethernet control port, and iPhone/iPad drivers are available.

For home theater enthusiasts who demand power amplification with the utmost in dynamics, detail, and finesse, the reference caliber 7-350 multichannel amplifier offers a gargantuan 350 Watts @ 8 ohms per channel (7 x 350) in a high efficiency Class H design. (Convection cooling without the use of a fan further adds to overall operating efficiency.)

The new PMC-2 7.1 media processor/controller, PMR-7125 7.1 media receiver and 7-350 multichannel power amplifier will ship in late March.
