United Way Campaign Volunteers Meet for First Time
Community leaders from a broad spectrum of business and industry sectors recently assembled for the first time to begin preparations for the 2016 Tulsa Area United Way campaign.
Nearly 50 members of the Campaign Cabinet, which leads the annual United Way campaign for the community, gathered to begin planning thedrive.
This year, Marla and Steve Bradshaw will serve as the second husband-and-wife team in historyof the Tulsa Area United Way to lead the annual campaign. Marla Bradshaw is a community volunteer and Steve Bradshaw is President and CEO of the Bank of Oklahoma.
The campaign officially begins in August and concludes on Nov. 10, although Trailblazer companies will conduct their campaigns early this summer.
Members of the Campaign Cabinet were recently announced at a luncheon at the 624 Kitchen in downtown Tulsa.
“These dedicated individuals have already begun to prepare for the campaign,” said Steve Bradshaw. “Each member of the cabinet is committed to developing the resources necessary to building a better community and improving the lives of our friends and neighbors.”
The team leaders of this year’s campaign are Curtis Dinan, ONE Gas; Lee Eslicker, D&L Oil Tools; John Hewitt, Matrix Services; Anita Holloway, Ernst and Young; Stacy Kymes, Bank of Oklahoma; and Sarah McCormick, American Heritage Bank.

In the past 91 years, the Tulsa Area United Way has invested more than$720 million in the Tulsa area.
