MOORE STEPHENS ASSURANCE ADELAIDE JOINS PITCHER PARTNERS ADELAIDE
Pitcher Partners Adelaide is pleased to announce that Jim Gouskos, formerly the Head of Audit at Moore Stephens Assurance Adelaide and National Director of Moore Stephens Australia, has joined our Audit practice as Principal in April 2016.
“Jim brings a wealth of experience, with over 20 years’ helping his clients with audit, due diligence, risk management, corporate governance, IPO’s and ASX listings,” said Tom Verco, Managing Principal at Pitcher Partners Adelaide.
“With Jim joining us, we’ll significantly increase our audit capacity and broaden our audit and assurance base.”
“Jim is bringing his entire team of experienced auditors, China business specialists to Pitcher Partners, as well as his established client base in Adelaide and throughout Australia, China and the rest of Asia.
“This will further increase our capacity in Audit and especially our ability to assist with China-focused inbound and outbound investment.

Jim Gouskos detailed the ability of Pitcher Partners Adelaide to support existing and new clients in Australia and China.
“There are numerous synergies with my existing team and audit practice and Pitcher Partners Adelaide, particularly in the China space – in which both have an existing and growing client base,” said Jim Gouskos.
“Pitcher Partners Adelaide and the Baker Tilly network are far better positioned to service the growth needs that we anticipate from our existing and new clients in Australia, China and the rest of Asia.”
Tom Verco also noted that Jim Gouskos coming on board was an important element of Pitcher Partners Adelaide’s continued growth, with the firm also recently adding a Tax Principal to its tax division.
“We’ve also just elevated Phil Shepherd as a Principal within our Tax division, underpinning the growth in this area,” said Tom Verco.
“It has been wonderful to see Phil, who started as a Graduate at Pitcher Partners Adelaide, develop into a home-grown Principal of the firm.
“And ultimately, we’re investing in our corporate tax and audit practice because we’re optimistic about our growth, and about South Australia’s growth into the future.”
