·  You may also submit the completed form via other committee members, with whom you are in direct contact.

·  You must also provide a copy of the Certificate of Currency for your Public Liability Insurance for $20M. This is required as part of our Council approval for Paddlefest.

·  Sites for exhibitors cost $100 and will generally be 3m x 3m. Exhibitor space will be available close to the registration area and adjacent to the SUP and kayak paddler ‘villages’.

·  Rotary organizers will be on site from 6am on 26th February. Most paddlers will arrive from 7am.

About Paddlefest
Paddlefest is now in its 11th year. It is a day of paddling events, including SUP, kayak, dragon boats and outriggers. This year there will also be approx 160 cubs from the Charlestown and Lake Macquarie districts along with leaders and support group – parents etc.. Their activities will include land and water events.
Paddlefest has raised in excess of $145,000 to support organizations that help local people in need. Examples are purchase of boats and equipment for Sailability in Toronto, funding the breakfast club at Toronto Primary School, provision of bathroom and laundry facilities for homeless people at the Salvation Army Centre in Bolton Point, and an early intervention program for disadvantaged families and children, run by the Samaritans. Through their participation, Paddlefest has also provided about $10,000 to SES and local high schools.
In 2017, funds raised by Paddlefest will go to support Youth Mental Health at John Hunter Hospital and the Cancer Council.
In 2017, we expect about 200 SUP and kayak paddlers and up to 300 dragon boat and outrigger paddlers as well as 250 plus comprising cubs and their support network.
