As the Systems Architect for Yosemite Technologies I am helping the company push forward in to the modern software arena of Software as a Service. I am responsible for overall designing and implementing the back office components for supporting a next generation online storage solution.
My duties include working with top level management to gather project requirements, research and development of solutions and management of project resources and schedules. I directly interface with outside consultants, OEM partners and subordinates to convey the business design in a detailed technical manner.
02/2002 - 04/2008 / Global IT Manager / Yosemite Technologies

As the Global IT Manager for Yosemite Technologies I was responsible for the design and implementation of the companies global IT infrastructure from the ground up. This included the LAN network, WAN network, secure wireless networks, SAN, virtual server infrastructure, and extremely high server density data center. I was responsible for the management of IT operations in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
I oversaw deployment and maintenance of over 70 servers in 4 offices including a 24/7 monitored collocated datacenter. These servers included file servers, web servers (IIS & Apache), accounting servers (MS Great Plains), CRM servers (Microsoft CRM), mail (MS Exchange and Sendmail/Dovecot), SQL (Microsoft SQL, MySQL and Oracle), VMWare ESX Servers, and various UNIX, Linux and Windows application servers.
More recently I designed, deployed and oversaw the administration of a hybrid open source / Shoretel VoIP system. This system links all of the companies American offices, external employees and virtual offices throughout Europe.
