CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
& HANDICAP LIMIT: Open to any junior female Amateur who is a Life, Full or Junior member of a Golf Club affiliated to a Union, recognized by WGSA.Entrants must have beenBORN IN 1998 OR AFTER. The maximum number of players will be limited to 96 players and if the number of entries exceeds 96 the higher handicaps will be placed on a waiting list.
Handicaps of 30 and lower may enter.
ENTRY FEE &
WITHDRAWALS:R400-00 which must accompany the Entry form. Entry forms are available from the GNGU website: Bank deposits must be made to GNGU, Nedbank Woodlands, Branch 136305, and Account No. 1363001124. The deposit slip and entry is to be faxed to (012) 667 1252 or e-mailed to . Entry fees will only be refunded in the case of a withdrawal before the closing date
CLOSING DATE:For receipt of entries: Noon Friday, 5 February 2016. Late entries will not be accepted.
FORM OF COMPETITION: 18 handicap and lower -36 holes Stroke Play
19-30 handicap – 36 holes Stableford
DRAW AND STARTING
TIMES:Any competitor who is absent from the tee when called upon to start will be disqualified or penalised under Rule 6.3. Players will receive their tee off times via SMS.
COURTESY OF COURSE:The courtesy of Waterkloof Golf Club has been extended to entrants for practice from Tuesday to Friday preceding the tournament, subject to the consent of the Club Manager (012)460 9359.
CADDIES:Outside caddies will not be permitted. No parent or family member will be permitted to caddy.
DRESS CODE:Players must conform to the dress regulations stipulated by WGSA Soft spikes only.
PRIZE GIVING:Attendance at prize giving is compulsory.
DECISIONS & DISPUTES:The Tournament Committee appointed by the GNGU will deal with decisions and disputes of any kind.
EXEMPTION OF LIABILITY CLAUSE
The Union and its management will not be held responsible for any damages, loss, including personal loss and or other forms of loss, harm or injury sustained as stipulated below:
The Union will not be held liable for any of the following:
1.1Physical and\or emotional injuries suffered during the tournament\championship, due to any acts of God, suffered as a direct result thereof, including aspects such as being struck by lightning, etc.
1.2.Physical injuries of any kind suffered by any person, including a player or spectator sustained by own negligence, or otherwise.
1.3. Emotional injuries sustained due to any loss, including death, suffered as a result of any of the above injuries sustained personally or by spectator.
1.4. Damages suffered to any property of a player.
The player acknowledges the exemption of liability of the Union and its management as listed above when the player signs the acknowledgement and also acknowledges the contents of the above, understands it, and exempts the Union from any liability as indicated above.The Union does not warrant or guarantee the safety of any person.
