Elena Eisman,EdD, ABPP, MPA Executive Director; APA Board of Directors Member-at-Large;
and APA Council of Representatives Member representing APA Board of Directors brings us her extensive knowledge of Health Care reform trends and developments from her close work within APA leadership and her in-state leadership activities.
Karen Postal, PhD, ABPP (CN), MNS President-Elect; Neuropsychology private practitioner; and APA State Implementation of Health Care Reform Committee Member brings us her knowledge of the developing Medicare Pilot Programs in MA and Medicare Innovation Center grants.
Leslie Bourne, PhD, Chief of BehavioralMedicine for Atrius Health Reliant Medical Group in Worcester brings us her experience of providing and managing behavioral health services within a Patient Centered Medical Home model in MA.
Learning Goals
1.  Understand major changes in health care payment structures in Massachusetts.
2.  See the needfor active collaboration with local Medicare and private pay ACO's tomaintain client access to psychological and neuropsychological services.
3.  Understand the role of the Medicare Innovation Center in grants for repeatable, prevention-centered healthcare structures.
4.  Describeat least threeexamples of how psychologists and neuropsychologists can partner with ACO's.
