2005 ARTISAN APPLICANT INFORMATION

Thank you for considering Scarborough Faire as a marketplace to sell your product. Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

When: Saturdays & Sundays, April 9 – May 29, 2005, plus Memorial Day Monday the 30th.

School Days: May 3, 4, and 5, 2005.

Where: Just 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

From Dallas—I-35E, exit 399A (FM66). Turn right on FM 66, Festival is 1.6 miles, on the left.

From Fort Worth – take Hwy 287 south to I-35E, go south to exit 399A (FM66). Turn right on FM 66, Festival is 1.6 miles, on the left.

From Waco—I-35E, exit 399 (FM66). Turn left on FM 66, Festival is 1.6 miles, on the left.

Attendance: Attendance in 2004 was 198,000 people.

Number of Crafts Shops: 169

Deadline: Application must be returned by October 15, 2004. The Jury will meet in November and announce their decision by January 15th.

Cost: There is a $650 Booth Fee. You must include a check for the booth fee with your application. If you are accepted into the show, it will not be cashed until you are notified of your acceptance. If you are not accepted into the show, it will be returned to you.

Booths: If you wish to rent a booth the festival has booths for rent starting at $500. There are also privately

owned booths for rent. The owner sets the booth prices. You may also use a temporary structure if it meets the

approval of the Festival.

Requirements: If you are juried into the festival you will be required to have a Texas Sales Tax number and liability insurance. The liability insurance must list Scarborough Faire as “Additional Insured.” If the Festival is not provided with proof of insurance by April 1, of the festival year you will automatically be put on the festival’s policy and charged the cost ($75).

Camping: We do have a campground with facilities ranging from tent set up to full RV hook ups. The RV hook ups are limited in number, so if you are accepted into the show and wish an RV hook up you should call the office as soon as possible to reserve a spot. RV spots are reserved with full payment only.

Pets: Pets are not allowed except for those belonging to booth owners or booth managers. All pets must be registered with security and have proof of up to date rabies vaccination.
