Position Description – Assistant

The assistant will join a group of others who provide general administrative help to our team of financial advisors and our clients. The job duties can be quite varied, including occasional marketing and office management responsibilities. These duties may change to provide growth in the role as our team evolves. Duties include:

·  Interacting with clients on the phone and in-person

·  Scheduling client appointments

·  Managing the overall office environment

·  Assisting busy senior executives

·  Completing client paperwork and submitting paperwork to the Ameriprise corporate office

·  Managing client information

·  Researching advisor and client questions

Required Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, qualified applicants will have:

-  Undergraduate degree

-  Organized, detailed and able to multi-task with accuracy

-  Professional presence, integrity and sense of responsibility

-  Outstanding verbal, written and listening communication skills

-  Client service focus

-  Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.
