Caritas–Hong Kong Raffle Tickle and Holidays
Dear parents,
(1) Caritas-Hong Kong Raffle Ticket
Caritas–Hong Kong (Caritas), the official social service agency of the Catholic Church in Hong Kong. The primary purpose of its establishment was to offer social welfare and community services to the distressed. The wide-ranging services provided by Caritas include social work services, education, medical care, community development and hospitality. From September to November 2009, Caritas will organize different fund raising activities such as Caritas Fund Raising Bazaars and Raffle Ticket Purchasing Campaign. The theme of this year is “Give Them a Ray of Hope” which aimed to cultivate students with a caring heart to others and give warmth and care to the elderly and the sick. Therefore, we highly encourage our students to show their care to those in need by purchasing Raffle Tickets.
If parents and students are interested in buying the raffle tickets, please return the Reply Slip and state clearly the number of raffle tickets needed. The price of each raffle ticket is HK$10. Tickets will be distributed to students later. Please be reminded it is not permitted to sell the raffle tickets to other people after collection.
(2) National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays
School will be suspended on National Day, 1 October ( Thu ) and Mid-Autumn Festival , 3 October ( Sat ) while students will have regular lessons on 2 October ( Fri ).
