Field Trip to Charlotte’s Web and Chuck E.Cheese – We will be going to Furman University on thisFriday, March 6 to see the play Charlotte’s Web. After the play, we will be going to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. We are looking forward to having a great time! Please make sure your child wears their PURPLE Field Day t-shirt on Friday!!!
PAWS - 2nd grade is collecting items to donate to PAWS for their Service Learning Project. They are asking for pet food, treats, or other pet items. All items are due by Friday, March 13.
READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK – Read Across America Week is the week of March 2-6 (next week). To celebrate this week, we will be dressing up for different Dr. Seuss books each day.
-Monday, March 2 – Oh, the Places You’ll Go – Wear a shirt from a places you’ve visited or would like to visit
-Tuesday, March 3 – Our Many Colored Days – Wear as MANY colors as you can
-Wednesday, March 4 – Wacky Wednesday – Dress as wacky as you can – wacky socks, mismatched clothes, etc.
-Thursday, March 5 – The Cat in the Hat – Silly Hat Day – wear a silly hat (no baseball caps)
-Friday, March 6 – Dress up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character
