Guidelines to fill out the Inspirator Roster
This is a guideline to help applicants fill out the Inspirator Roster on line registration form. We recommend that you down load this guideline for your easy reference during your registration. The registration process consists of 2 parts:
1. Online registration
2. Personal validation interview
Before registering
Before you register, you should be aware that you are not applying for a specific placement, nor will an acceptance to be listed in the Inspirator Roster guarantee you an Inspirator position.
Subscribing & registering
Registering is done at http://ims.actionaid.dk In order to register you must subscribe to a username and a password. Therefore, please click on “subscribe”. Please fill out the empty slots and duplicate the letters and numbers you see below exactly as you see them and remember to distinguish between small and capital letters.
Your log in details will be sent to your email. This means that you can always return to your registration in case you experience a power cut during registration. It also means that you can go in and add information after your registration, if you have left out important information.

Page 1 outlines the necessary qualifications to become an Inspirator. Please, read the page carefully as you should not spend time registering, if you do not fulfil the basic requirements. Scroll down the page and press “next”

Fill out your personal information, including your country of residence. If your country of residence is not on the list, you are not eligible to apply at the moment.
You have the option of adding new work places. Click on the “add work experience” and new boxes will appear. Do this for each employment or volunteer work you have had.
Page 3
This is where you list your core competences. You may indicate up to 5 core competencies within the Roster. When you click in one box, for example anti corruption, new boxes open to help you specify your experiences and core competence areas. It is VERY important that you are very honest, when you mark the different areas of experience. If it appears that you have been exaggerating your experience during the personal validation interview, you will not be approved to be listed in the Inspirator Roster.

Please note that under IT skills you will need to press “add area” in order to write anything.
You have to write the name and e-mail address of three references. The references should be able to verify the information you have provided during your registration and should not be family related. It is preferable that these are professional references that can reference your professional and practical work experience. When you press next, you will get to the last page, which will confirm your registration and application to become an Inspirator candidate.
After registration
Once you have completed your registration automatic e-mails will be sent to your 3 references. Once we have received at least 2 references, you will be contacted by a People4Change facilitator, who will conduct a personal validation interview with you. Usually, this interview is carried out by phone or SKYPE. If you are in the same area as the interviewer, it is possible to have a face-to-face interview, but please be aware that ActionAid Denmark will not cover any costs you may have related to participating in such an interview.
The interviewer will check the information you have provided in the Inspirator Roster and make an assessment of your professional and personal competences to become an Inspirator. The interviewer’s assessment will determine, whether you will be accepted to be listed in the Inspirator Roster or not. You can expect to be notified about this decision within a week after the interview.
If the interviewer approves your application, your name and professional profile will be available for search in the Inspirator roster, whenever a new Inspirator placement is being identified.
If you have any questions, please write to and allow a few days for a response.
