I would like to invite you and your students to attend the Unified ITF English Open Championships to be held at:

ALFRETON LEISURE CENTRE

CHURCH STREET

ALFRETON

DERBYSHIRE

DE55 6HR

ON SUNDAY 2nd July 2017

WEIGH IN FROM 9AM

COMPETITON BEGINS AT 10AM

BLACK BELT COMPETITION SHOULD AIM TO BE STARTED AT 1PM or could start earlier as rings become available

The more Officials you are able to provide ensures the event moves on efficiently

There is ample free parking a parking permit can be collected from the LC reception

All competitors get to enter 4 events for £21

All do sparring and patterns

Dependent on age Breaking and Specials

Younger members get to do static high kick and speed test

Divisions split as fairly as possible on the day for ages 4 years and above

Full safety equipment to be worn

Headguard closed hand and footpads gum shield shin guards

Groin guards for male competitors

Please ensure that equipment is in good condition it will be checked on the ring for safety

Sparring, contact will be controlled on target excessive contact will be awarded 1 foul

All divisions are continuous

A perfect block will be a scoring technique of 1 point

ITF scoring for all techniques

We aim to make your day an enjoyable fare experience the rings run efficiently with our team of experienced Officials

We have been running this event for many years now with many groups attending and returning year after year

So prepare yourselves for a great day
