** NEW SEARCH FACILITY AND FIX FOR LEGAL FORM FONTS ERROR MESSAGE V8.04F and Higher**

Fix for 'Legal Form Fonts…' error message. Previously, OyezForms would either copy *.sfr font files from the application directory to c:\windows, c:\winnt or to the path as displayed in Tools>Options>General>Path to Users Files upon initialisation. OyezForms now reads the *.sfr file fonts as *.ttf (True Type Fonts). This means that there is no longer a need to copy *.sfr font files to any location. Importing Forms – Version 7 & 8 (32Bit software for Win95/98/NT4/2000/XP)

1.  Start the OyezForms software (if you are running a networked copy of the software only one user has the software open at this point).

2.  Insert the update disk into your floppy drive.

3.  Select Admin and then Import new forms…

4.  The Import new forms dialog box will appear and a list of the forms contained on the update disk will be displayed. Click Select All and then Import.

5.  Once imported you will be asked if there are any more forms to import. If there are click Yes; insert the next disk and select OK.

6.  The screen will refresh to display a new list of forms. Follow step 4 again.

7.  Once the disk(s) have all been imported select No.

PROGRAM UPDATE – VERSION 805A INSTRUCTIONS

Please find enclosed a Program Update to V8.05A. We strongly recommend that you update your OyezForms software as soon as possible in order to ensure that the new SDLT forms, which are due for release in due course, work correctly as per the specifications of The Inland Revenue.

In order to upgrade successfully, please follow the instructions below:

1.  Ensure no other software is running, and all instances of OyezForms are closed.

2.  Insert the disk labelled Program Upgrade Disk 1 into your floppy disk drive (a:\)

3.  Click on the Start button in taskbar and select Run.

4.  Type a:\setup in the command line and then click OK.

5.  The InstallShield will initialise and the Welcome dialogue box will then appear, select Next, and then Next again to ReadMe Information.

6.  The next dialogue box, Choose Destination Location, sets the Destination Directory for the installation, which is, as a default, a directory called Oyez Legal Forms (e.g. C:\PROGRAM FILES\OYEZ\OYEZ LEGAL FORMS\).

NB. Please ensure you specify the directory containing the OyezFrms.exe program file.

In a networked installation, this will involve targeting a mapped drive using the BROWSE

button (e.g. O:\Oyez32). Click Next.

**If you are unsure of the correct Destination path, please see Tools>Options>General and note the Main Program Path**

7.  The InstallShield will start copying files. During the copy you will be prompted to insert the next disk. Insert the disk labelled Program Upgrade Disk 2 and select OK.

8.  Once the Setup Complete dialogue box appears, select Finish.

Once you have completed the upgrade procedure, run OyezForms as normal and then select Help>About the program. This should now display Oyez Legal Forms Generator V8.05A.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

If your upgrade fails its likely that:

1.  An incorrect Drive or Path was selected at the Choose Destination Location screen. Re-try with the correct path (e.g. O:\Oyez32).

** If you are unsure of the correct Destination path, please see Tools>Options>General and note the Main Program Path **

2.  A user was still running OyezForms. Re-try with all users COMPLETELY OUT of OyezForms
