HISTORY OF xxxxxx

xxxx was founded in 1969 by xxxxx, President, and xxxx, Vice President. Both men began heir careers in the Tool & Die industry, and have extensive backgrounds in stampings. xxxxxxxx serves over 500 customers, largely automotive-related, although many are in the aerospace, agricultural and electronics industries. We employ xxxxxx people, with sales of approximately xxxxxxx million dollars per year.

xxxxxxxxxxxxx specializes in producing light- to medium-weight stampings with tolerances to within +/- .001 inches. Our 48,000 square foot Stamping Plant houses twenty-three stamping and forming presses, which include 5-ton high-speed through 160-ton straight-side presses, four-slides, CNC multi-slide, and a Vexel machine in a state-of-the-art environment in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Michigan. In 1995 we added a CNC wire forming machine to our facility for the production of windshield wiper products, which is capable of producing other parts of similar size and configuration.

In 1997, xxxxxxxxxxxx successfully completed negotiations with Germany’s premier stamping company to bring the xxxxxx machine, which utilizes unique transfer technology, to North America. The origin of this equipment has its roots in the German jewelry industry, where optimum material usage is a prime consideration. Close tolerance precision stampings are the beginning of much of the fine jewelry from this region. After years of use in the jewelry industry, the process migrated into the electrical and electronic industries, where the “nesting” of the blank is just as beneficial in using brass and copper as it is for semi-precious metals. The efficient use of raw material, coupled with relatively low-cost tooling makes this technology appealing for parts used in switches, relays, controllers, computers, or anywhere that low-cost precision terminals, contacts, etc. are used.

xxxxxxxxxx receives customer orders via daily Electronic Releases, and these orders are filled on request by Just-In-Time deliveries. Bar coding identifies production lots, and records are maintained for tracking release lots as they progress thorough the facility.

It is anticipated that xxxxxxxxxx steady growth will continue based on our ability to provide quality products, shipped on time, with competitive pricing, while maintaining an ample margin for a successful business operation.
