NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be an Asian Cultural Club meeting this Friday, after school in Room 5.

Attention Seniors: If you are participating in the Instant Decision Day on Friday, December 5, there will be a MANDATORY meeting on Monday, November 17, in the Lecture Hall. Students with last names beginning with A through M should report to the Lecture Hall during Block 1. Students with last names beginning with N through Z must meet during Block 3.

The Lakeland Lancers Boys' Basketball Team will be hosting a Dine to Donate at Pizza One in Haskell on Tuesday, November 18th from 5:00 - 10:00 PM! Any student or staff member interested in forming a "Fitness Walking Club" should see Mrs. Landy Lynch in Room 112 for details and sign up.

Reminder: The Astronomy Club is meeting TODAY, Friday, November 14, at 2:45 p.m. in Room 109.

There is a great opportunity for a sophomore student to represent Lakeland Regional High School at the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference in June, 2015. We have one guaranteed position for a sophomore student. Any sophomores interested in applying for this leadership seminar, should see their guidance counselor immediately. Requirements include: essay, leadership potential, and participation in community service activities. The deadline is November 20.

There will be a Debate Club Meeting on Friday, November 21, in Room 109, at 2:45 p.m. Any questions, see Ms. Allegrini.

It is not too late to order your Project Graduation Thanksgiving Breakfast Basket! See Ms. Haftek for details. All orders must be in by Tuesday, November 18th!

There will be a Blood Drive Assembly on Tuesday Nov. 18 for Juniors and Seniors.

The Student Council is collecting food for the Ringwood Center for Food Action. All donations can be brought to Room 405 by Nov. 20.

It's Battle Ball time! Battle Ball is on Thursday, November 20, after school. Get your teams together now. Teams must have 10 to 15 players and the cost is $5 per player. Sign up during lunch blocks outside the cafeteria. All paperwork must be submitted by Tuesday, November 18.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2014, the Lakeland Boys' Basketball Team will be hosting a TAPS (basketball) TOURNAMENT in the West Gym beginning at 3:30 (registration is at 3). The cost is $5 per player / with teams of 2 needed. TEACHERS ARE WELCOME TO PLAY!!!! This fundraiser is open to teachers, alumni, high school students and 8th graders. Come out and shoot some hoops before the turkey is served. If you have any questions please see Mr. McCarney.

The Class of 2017 will be holding a Clothing Drive on Saturday, November 22. Please check the Lost & Found closet across the hall from the Main Office for your personal belongings. All unclaimed items will be donated to the Clothing Drive.
