Why do your students need to learn to think?

What do you observe about their responses and behaviours in a learning situation?

Robyn - Yard- Playing fantastic games/inventive games without equipment
Kids taking initiative getting groups together
Dobbing – solve my problem
ELC - Randomly moving equipment
Prep - Sitting waiting for others to do everything for them no or limited input
Lin - Some questioning discussion resourceful – using peers to seek support cf cheat –recognising and using skills of children in group
Deb – being competitive plus or minus with others / groups boys/girls, have to finish first own performance
Trudy – (Special Needs Group) have a go / try
Ask for help if it is a new activity
Virginia – not being independent of adults demanding asking for help
Marylou – see good persistence in some / Robyn - Yard – gesture ideas to others
