We are pleased to announce the 2012 MTSL South League Championship Meet! The South League Championship Meet is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Saginaw Heritage High School Pool in Saginaw, MI. Detailed information and entry forms are enclosed. Please note that Hy-Tek entries are due by 10:00 PM February 25, 2013. Non-Hy-Tek entries must be received by February 21, 2012 (non-Hy-Tek entries include those received by e-mail and postal mail).
There are a number of things we want coaches, presidents, parents, and swimmers to know in advance of the meet so it can run as smoothly as possible and be fun for everyone. We ask for your cooperation in enforcing the following:
1. No deck entries allowed
2. Swimmers should remain in the designated areas in the building. Footwear is required in all areas other than the pool deck.
3. Only swimmers, coaches, and authorized personnel will be allowed on the pool deck during the meet.
4. All concessions should remain in the areas designated. Please – no food on the pool deck or in the pool room.
5 Please do not leave valuables unattended or unlocked. The Saginaw Bay Y Sharks and Heritage School are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Michigan Team Swim League South League Championship Meet

Location: / Saginaw Heritage High School, 3465 N. Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603Facility: / 25 yard pool, 6 lanes with starting platforms. Daktronics timing with electronic starter and an 6-lane display will be used.
Time: / 8:00 a.m. Warm-ups 10 & Under Age Groups
9:00 a.m. Start 10 & Under Age Groups
11:30 a.m. Warm-ups 11 -18 Age Groups
12:15 p.m. Start 11 -18 Age Groups
Please note that after receipt of entries the 11-18 age group start time may move up as to keep the event moving. An email will be sent if there is a change.
Rules: / Meet will follow MTSL Rules of Operation. The no false start rule will be in effect. Swimmers are to swim the age they will be on March 2, 2013. All swimmers entered must have swum a minimum of two MTSL meets this fall and winter.
Awards: / Medals will be awarded for 1st– 6th place and ribbons for 7th – 12th place. Team scores will not be kept.
Qualifying: / If a swimmer achieves an MTSL qualifying time(s) at the League Championship (Novice) meet on Saturday, they will be allowed to swim that event(s) at the State Meet on Sunday.
Entry Fee: / $3.00 per individual event, $12.00 per relay. Swimmers may swim a maximum of four events: three individual and one relay; or two individual and two relays. Make checks payable to MTSL and either mail your check to the address below before the meet or plan to bring it to the meet on March 2, 2012. No deck entries will be allowed.

Follow Center Rd. 1.7 miles to Heritage High School on the right.From South / I-75 north to exit 150 (I-675) to exit 6 (Tittabawassee Rd.) turn left (west) Follow Tittabawassee Rd. 2.8 miles to Center Rd. turn left (south). From East / Travel to I-75 and head toward to the closer exit 150 or 155 (I-675) Follow I-675 to exit 6 (Tittabawassee Rd) turn west. Follow Tittabawassee Rd. 2.8 miles to Center Rd turn left (south). Follow Center Rd. 1.7 miles to Heritage High School on the right.
From West / M46 east into Saginaw. Turn left onto Center Rd (north). Follow Center Rd. 2.8 miles to Heritage High School on left
From West (alternate) / Follow US 10 east and merge onto M47 south. Follow M-47 9 miles to Tittabawassee Rd. Turn left onto Tittabawassee Rd (east) travel 3.8 miles. Turn right on to Center Rd (south), travel 1.7 miles to Heritage High School on the right.
