February 3, 2017

Dear Friend,

Our 22nd AnnualMinistering to the Elderly Conference will be held on May 25, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Miami Jewish Health Systems on the topic of Living and Dying: Conversations about What Matters Most

Our program will partner with The Conversation Project, a nationally recognized organizationdedicated to helping people talk about their wishes for end-of-life care. Our keynote speaker will be Rev. Rosemary Lloyd. As an Advisor to the Faith-Based Community for The Conversation Project, The Rev. Rosemary Lloyd isdedicated to supporting clergy and congregations in having vital conversations about our unique wishes for care through the end of life. Rosemaryhas a life-long interest in end of life care and ethics. A graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Divinity School, she has worked as a professional nurse, congregational minister, and hospice volunteer. Formerly the Associate Minister at the First Church in Boston, Rosemary has led courses in congregational settings on aging and end of life choices for more than 10 years, and now leads Starter Kit Workshops and preaches on related topics throughout Greater Boston.

This annual event is attended by professionals in elder care, social workers, and local clergy from all faiths, as well as members in the community who are interested. For LMHC professionals, continuing education credits are provided. The program has been developed through an interagency collaboration between The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Jewish Community Services, and Miami Jewish Health Systems, and is supported by other partners who contribute to the success of the day. In that spirit, I would like to invite you to join us as a sponsor.

There are two levels of sponsorship available: LeChaim (to life!) and LeSimcha (to joy!). As a LeChaim Sponsor for $1000 or above, the benefits include:

  • Four complimentary tickets to the event
  • Company recognized as benefactor on the e-mail invitation and event signage
  • Federation-prepared press release and web story recognizing your sponsorship to be circulated to your relevant constituencies.
  • Recognition during the event program
  • A program table to advertise products and services.

As a LeSimcha Sponsor for at least $700, the benefits are the same as above but with two complimentary tickets and without the display table.

We hope that you welcome this opportunity and will confirm a sponsorship by completing and returning the enclosed Sponsor Agreement Form. May we hear from you by April 24 so that the full benefits will be available to you? If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Rabbi Frederick L. Klein at 305-562-1235. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Fred Klein
