Colorado College Partners with CSHP to Deliver Student Health Services
Colorado Springs, CO) July 30, 2012 – Colorado College has engaged Colorado Springs Health Partners, PC to provide health care services to CC students through Boettcher Health Center on campus.
CC has made health services available to students on site since 1963. CSHP was awarded the contract for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school years. “CSHP has been a longtime collaborator and provider for many of our staff and faculty, and this new partnership will now have a positive impact on our student body as well,” said Mike Edmonds, Colorado College vice president for student life and dean of students. We are pleased to have CSHP on board as partners for the future.”
CSHP’s Brian Grabert, M.D., has served as the CC athletics department’s concussion expert since 1999. Grabert is a board-certified neurologist who also played the role of clinical investigator for an NCAA study on concussions in which the college participated. In the mid 1980s, CC was enrolled in the Peak Health HMO health plan, which was originally owned by CSHP.
