IPPF Launches ‘I Decide’ in [name of country]
A newcampaign launched by the International Planned Parenthood Federation is calling for world leaders to support people’s basic sexual and reproductive rights to decide what happens to their bodies, who they live with and whether or not they become pregnant.
The campaign - I Decide - was launched today by [name of MA] at an event with [describe event/people attending] in [country] today.
Across the world in 172 countries, IPPF’s Member Associations are organising events to secure parliamentarians’ support. These rangefrom conferences and media debates to street processions, theatre and dance.
The campaign aims to get one million signatures to present to UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in the summer of 2015.
Timing is crucial, as world leaders are currently deciding on what replaces the Millennium Development Goals. Sexual and reproductive health and rights need to be at the heart of those new targets.

“We can’t beat poverty without safeguarding reproductive health and rights - that’s why we’re launching the ‘I Decide’ campaign in town.
