524 38 / The school is well served by the bus routes operating along the Lisburn Road. An Ulsterbus service leaves Wellington Place, Belfast, every 5 minutes in the morning and passes the school gates. Any Ulsterbus with a three figure number beginning with a 5 is appropriate. Metro bus 9A which serves Conway Estate, Dunmurry leaves from Donegall Square East and also passes the school. A regular bus service operates from Lisburn, which stops outside the school gates.

23A and 188 School Ulsterbus / The 23A bus leaves the Comber Depot at 7.45am*. At Dundonald it turns into the East Link Road and stops on the King’s Road at the Dundonald Ice Bowl. The bus proceeds to Newtownbreda via King’s Road, Gilnahirk Road, Lower Braniel Road, Glen Road, the Knock Dual Carriageway, Castlereagh Road, Ladas Drive, Mountmerrion Avenue, Rosetta Road and Saintfield Road. At Forestside traffic lights it turns right and stops at the first lay-by, where it becomes a School Bus. At 8.40 am it proceeds to school via Shaw’s Bridge, Upper Malone Road and Finaghy Road South. Girls may join this bus at any point along the route and it is convenient for those travelling from Comber, East Belfast, Newtownards, Downpatrick, Saintfield and Ballynahinch.
In the afternoon the 188 bus leaves school about 3.27 pm and follows the route in reverse. Another bus also leaves the school gates at 3.27 pm. It goes via Shaw’s Bridge to Carryduff, where it turns and travels down the Saintfield Road into Belfast. Girls may stay on the bus and disembark anywhere along the route into Belfast.
103 Crumlin
Ulsterbus / An Ulsterbus public service going to Lisburn Filterbeds, Glenavy and Crumlin can be boarded at the stop just outside the school gates.
Bangor
/ Finaghy railway station is a few minutes walk away from the school. Pupils from North Down generally use the railway.
51 Moira

109 Ulsterbus Ballinderry / In addition to the afternoon public service on the Lisburn Road, a 109Ulsterbus leaves from outside the front door of the school. This bus does not stop before Lisburn. As demand for places on this bus may exceed places available, priority is given to the youngest girls and those with special needs or travel requirements. Places are allocated on this basis annually.
26 Ulsterbus
Dromara / In addition to the afternoon public service, a 26 Ulsterbus leaves from outside the front door of the school. This bus does not stop before Lisburn. As demand for places on this bus may exceed places available, priority is given to the youngest girls and those with special needs or travel requirements. Places are allocated on this basis annually.
School Minibuses
/ There are two school minibuses. At present the following route operates but a second route may operate depending on demand and routes may be altered to suit the particular needs of the girls.
Pick up at 7.40am at Purdysburn Road, Moneyrea 8.00am, Carryduff 8.10am, Mealough Road 8.15 am, Drumbo 8.20am, Drumbeg 8.25 am, then continue to school. In the afternoon the bus travels the reverse route. As demand for places on the school minibuses may exceed places available, priority is given to very young girls and those with special needs or travel requirements. Places are allocated on this basis annually. The minibuses each seat 16 girls. Invoices for the minibus are raised monthly in advance and are payable on receipt of invoice. Invoices are raised for each allocated place and are payable even if a journey is not used. Details can be obtained from the Bursar’s Office.
